  • Shieri Shelly Yamafuji

    Founder

My journey into Pilates began during dance school after I suffered an injury. Seeking rehabilitation and pain management, I discovered its therapeutic benefits. Studying under teachers trained by Kelly Kane at the Kane School, I deepened my understanding of therapeutic Pilates.

After graduating, I worked at Pilates studio owned by an orthopedic surgeon, where I participated and learned from teachers trained in various styles of Pilates. This diverse exposure enriched my knowledge of different Pilates methodologies.

My experiences have fostered a deep appreciation for the mindfulness and therapeutic benefits of Pilates and the importance of individualized practice. This training program reflects my commitment to helping others achieve their health and fitness goals through a personalized and therapeutic approach to Pilates.
